The opening titles for the fault in our stars, gives an introduction to the film. The font of the title has been shown as using colored chalk on a black background. This could represent a way of teaching a lesson in the past, to educate children or even people. The black background gives a empty look, with the handwritten chalk text, gives a memorable effect of this statement being the title of the film, as its may link back into the film and may refer to talk about the story line, and might talk about why this statement is important within the film, which then leaves an enigma code for the audience, because to find out why this is important, as it could reflect a thought of the protagonist. The handwritten chalk text may link to the genre of a romance film, because the statement "The fault in our stars" may refer to a couple that may have got together unexpectedly, so they may have not realized that they could be couple, as they may have the protagonist may have a low self-esteem, so the statement may reflect that as well. The colours used in the title are blue and white. The effect of using the colour white in the font is that it symbolizes innocence, purity, and this has been shown through the text, as it may refer to the protagonist, feelings and emotions, and this could give an idea of there personality. The colour blue is effective as it highlights the two important words "fault" "stars" emphasis these points which are key within the film, the fault may refer to something not being normal, and referring to stars as it could lead to dreams and hopes, which may not be normal. The layout of the title is in the middle of the of the background, showing that its something that is important throughout the film and the audience could possibly be referring to it later. 
The opening titles for the film Endless love, gives an immediate introduction to the film, so that the audience are familiar with what they are watching. The Title has two different fonts, 'Endless' the font used there is called Trebuchet MS. The effect of using that font is that it gives a modern look to the title, as this is may show that it could be based on modern day relationship, which then would appeal to a more modern, younger audience around 16 and above, as some of the events may relate to them. The font used for the word 'Love' is called Arial, and it has been highlight in bold. The effect of using this font is that the bold text emphasizes the what could the story line of the film, which then links to the genre of the film as it has been clear shown that this film is a romance film, as the title defines it. The effect of using two different fonts is that it allows to show two different meaning of the film so it could show different sides of what could be endless love, so it could showing in different perspectives. The black background gives a empty look to the title and the effect of using black is that it could leave a mystery for the audience to find out what the title is trying to say, but complements it well with the white title. The effect of using white is that it could represent innocence, purity and perfection. This is effective because it could could link to a a perspective of what love is and may refer to a type of personality of what could be the protagonist. The title has been placed in the middle, to emphasis the importance of the title, which may indicate the story line and might happen through the film, The size of the font is about small/medium as it could show that point of a relationship, which will be shown in the film.
The Font used for the title for the note book is Times new roman, this is effective because it give an old look, which can also lead to giving hints of what the film could be about, as it could be referring to the past. The colour of the font used is white, which represents purity, and innocence. This could link to the overall film and how the title has been represented, as it could be referring to the past and showing that there may be a record of what had happen, which could be memorable for the audience. The background which complements the text is showing a sunset, with a man on a boat. The effect of using red is that it connotes passion, desire, and love, which can also show that the story could be about a past relationships, and it could be that the protagonist is telling a story. The sunset could show that its apart of the day and that the protagonist during the opening scene(as analysed) shows she looking though the window, connoting that she is waiting for someone, and shows that she has been waiting for a long time
What we will include is that the opening titles should have a black ground as it something that has come up most frequently in past films, and the title will have a modern style text, as our film would appeal a younger audience, due to the events that will be shown in the film, for example a college day with students. The possible colour that could be use for the title is white, as it could show innocence, and will outline the protagonist personality.
